How to Make Arabic Lamb Koftas? Recipe is here

Do you love koftas? Want to make them in Arabic style? Well, try this easy-to-make lamb koftas recipe. Koftas are small and tasty balls of meat that are made from ground lamb meat, spiced with onions, garlic, and other spices. So Delicious, Lip-smacking and Appetizing!!!

Arabic spices and mint leaves enhance the freshness and taste of these koftas. There is no single recipe for making lamb koftas, every country makes some variation in their recipe by adding their traditional cooking touch. Lamb koftas are really versatile, so you can enjoy them in several ways. Coat it with a rich hot sauce or top it up with spiced yogurt or serve it with the fresh salad of your favorite veggies.

If you are feeling too lazy after a busy work day, simply cook these delectable koftas with my recipe, sprinkle lemon juice on top and tease your taste buds with its divine flavor.

Ingredients:

  • Minced Lamb —- 500 gm
  • Onion —- 1, chopped

  • Garlic —- 2 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil —- 2 tablespoons
  • Coriander leaves—- 2 tablespoons
  • Mint leaves —2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Coriander, ground —- 1 teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper —- 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder —- 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin, ground —- 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper, ground —– ¼ teaspoon
  • A pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Salt to taste

Preparation Time:25 Minutes

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, place the lamb with onion, garlic, chopped mint leaves, coriander, cumin and other spices, and combine them.
  2. Season with salt and pepper, and mix them with hands until they all are properly mixed.
  3. Keep them in the refrigerator for about 24 hours or until ready to cook.
  4. With damp hands, take a little part of the mixture and shape them into small balls or koftas.
  5. Heat olive oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Place koftas in it and fry them until they are browned or cooked thoroughly, for almost 8 minutes.
  6. Drizzle lemon juice on Delicious koftas and serve with fresh salad and sauce.
