Creamy Mango Semolina Pudding – Must Try This Recipe

Summer season has started now and everyone is looking for the best ways to keep themselves fresh and energetic throughout the day. Here I’m going to share my favorite Mango Semolina pudding recipe which may help you keep cool and energized all the day. This recipe is inspired by the king of fruits – Mango. Mangoes are my most favorite fruit as they are not only luscious but also pack with a nutritive value. They have Vitamin A and beta-carotene which are exceptionally good for us.

Creamy Mango Semolina Pudding is an Arabic sweet pudding made from semolina. The addition of mango pulp flavored with cream and nuts, adds an exciting twist to this pudding. This recipe is quite simple and quick to make, as well as it tastes divine with the natural aroma of mangoes. It is served as a dessert for lunch parties. You can also make it for breakfast or enjoy this scrumptious pudding as a special sweet dish for the festival season.   • Semolina —- 1 cup xoai-sua-chua-2-e1463020376336
  • Canned Mango Pulp —- 2 cups
  • Milk —- 5 cups
  • Sugar —- 1½ cups
  • Cream —- 2 ½ cups
  • Blossom water —- 2 tablespoons
  • Rose water —- 2 tablespoons
  • Corn flour —- 5 tablespoons
  • Clarified butter — 2 tablespoons
  • Raisins —- 3 tablespoons
  • Mango slices, mint leaves or nuts to garnish

Serves: 6-8

Preparation Time: Approximately 25 Minutes


  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium. Add semolina and simmer for 6-8 minutes until it slightly turns into golden brown color.
  2. Add milk, mango pulp, cream and sugar, and bring to boil.
  3. Add corn flour and simmer over a low heat until it thickens (Stirring constantly).
  4. Add rose water, blossom water, and raisins in the mixture. Stir properly and remove from the heat.
  5. Pour this pudding into individual cups and keep aside to cool in the refrigerator.
  6. Garnish this Delectable Mango Pudding with the nuts, chopped mango slices or mint leaves and serve chilled.
