Barbecued Lamb Ribs Recipe

Barbecue is a great option for serving in barbecue and garden parties as everyone like to eat this tasty meal. People love to make delectable barbecue on their own and enjoy it with their family members or friends. There are lots of recipes to cook barbecue, but here I’m going to share my favorite barbecued lamb ribs recipe. It is very simple to make and requires a few in ingredients. The ribs are marinated in paprika, light brown sugar, garlic, hickory smoked salt and barbecue sauce, which enhance the taste of lamb ribs.

The barbecued ribs are usually served with pasta, rice and pea salad in the events or celebrations because of its simplicity and deliciousness. Check out the ingredients and cooking instruction to make it perfectly. I assure that your family or friends will love them heartily.

  • Lamb ribs —- 4 lbs
  • Light brown sugar —- 3⁄4 cup
  • Paprika —- 1 tablespoon
  • Hickory smoked salt —- 1 teaspoon
  • Ground red pepper —- 1⁄2 teaspoon, (optional)
  • Garlic powder —- 1 tablespoon
  • Barbecue sauce —– 2 cups

Servings: 6

Preparation Time: 3 hours 15 minutes


  1. Peel off tough skin/membrane of the ribs.
  2. Preheat oven to 300 F°.
  3. Combine the sugar and spices in a bowl to make the rub.
  4. Apply this rub to lamb ribs on all sides properly.
  5. Place these ribs on a baking sheet and keep it in preheated oven for baking for 2-2 1/2 hours, until the meat of ribs is beginning to shrink away from the bones.
  6. When the ribs are tender, remove from oven.
  7. Heat the broiler pan on medium-high heat.
  8. Cut the baked ribs into serving sized pieces.
  9. Brush the ribs with barbecue sauce.
  10. Toast them for 1- 2 minutes, until sauce is tender on and bubbly.
  11. Then, turn off the ribs over broiler and repeat on another side.
  12. Serve these scrumptious barbecued ribs with rice, pasta or salad and Enjoy!!
