Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado, and Tomato (B.L.A.T) Wrap Recipe

Have you gotten sick of ordinary sandwiches at lunch? And looking for something sizzling and lip-smacking? Stay here and check out this Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado, and Tomato (B.L.A.T) Wrap recipe. These wraps are also called “BLATS” in many countries. This recipe is one of my family’s favourites. The addition of bacon, tomatoes, avocado and lettuce makes this sandwich wrap mouth-watering and luscious. B.L.A.T wrap recipe is so easy to make, takes a few minutes.

These B.L.A.T sandwiches are incredibly fresh and tasty. You can eat them alone at lunch. Furthermore, there are some variations available that you can choose from. For example, you can use mayonnaise instead of sour cream, as well as pita bread as an alternative of tortillas. In every variation, these wraps are mind-blowing, scrumptious and wholesome.

Ingredients 

  • Cooked bacon —- 2 slices
  • Avocado —— 1, peeled, pitted and sliced
  • Tomato —– 1 medium, sliced
  • Green onion —– 1, sliced
  • Shredded cheddar cheese —– 1 tablespoon
  • Sour cream —— 1 teaspoon
  • Shredded lettuce —- 1 cup
  • Salt —- 1 dash
  • Black pepper —- 1 dash
  • Tortillas or pita bread—– 2
  • Tabasco sauce —- 1 dash (optional)

Servings: 2

Preparation Time: 25 Minutes

Directions:

  1. Cook bacon according to the package instruction or your preferred method.
  2. Combine sour cream, tabasco sauce, salt and pepper in a small bowl and blend them gently.
  3. Warm tortillas or pita in the oven covered in foil for almost 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
  4. When the tortillas/pitas are baked, spread the cream mixture over each wrap.
  5. Add cheese to them.
  6. Add avocado, lettuce, onion, tomato, and bacon nicely over the dressing of wraps.
  7. Roll up each wrap around the ingredients carefully. Serve with tomato sauce and fresh salad. Enjoy these luscious and tempting sandwiches.
